Used as part of an onboard training programme, these films will make your crew consider Risk Assessment as something more than just 'ticking boxes' ...

Assessing Risk: Slips, Trips and Falls
In this film, the first in the 'Risk Assessment' series, we look at Risk Assessment with the aim of reducing the incidence of 'Slips, Trips and Falls' onboard. This class of accident continues to cost the maritime industry dearly - in time, money and unnecessary suffering.

Assessing Risk: Hot Work
ASSESSING RISK: HOT WORK is the second in the series of Risk Assessment films from Walport. Aimed at improving crew awareness of the Risk Assessment process, the film looks in particular at a Risk Assessment prior to performing Hot Work but makes it clear that the lessons apply to any job requiring a Risk Assessment.

Assessing Risk: Start to Safe Finish
The third and final film in the series looks at the reasoning behind carrying out a Risk Assessment rather than the specifics of how this is undertaken onboard any particular vessel. The exact methodology used onboard should be covered by the vessel SMS, and this film is designed to support training crew in understanding and following the SMS.
