Fire Down Below

Price: £165.00

This film is about safety of life at sea. It covers many of the issues raised by the ISM Code and STCW: the importance of a safety culture on-board ship; correct record-keeping, maintenance procedures and the individual responsibility of everyone on-board.

Watch a preview of the film:

The subject is presented in a dramatic way, telling the story of a fire on a ship, which results in the death of a young cadet. As a fire investigator makes his way around the stricken vessel, analysing the damage, and interviewing the crew, the film resembles a detective mystery and, although this film seems to be about a fire on board ship, it is, in fact, about a much bigger subject.

The film comes with a book to aid onboard training.
